On Thursday 29 April 2021 at 7.30 AEST the Sydney Symphony Orchestra releases a new performance featuring Chief Conductor Designate Simone Young. Premiering on-demand via the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s website, Simone Young conducts works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Arnold Schoenberg, and Gustav Mahler. Filmed in August 2020 at the City Recital Hall, Sydney, under COVID-safe arrangements, the performance marks one of the early moments that the Sydney Symphony was able to return to the stage and collaborate through music once more.
