Simone Young will conduct again at the Bayreuth Festival in 2027

At the 2027 Bayreuth Festival, Simone Young will take over as music director for "The Mastersingers of Nuremberg". The revival of the production, directed by Matthias Davids, will feature Michael Volle (Hans Sachs) and Klaus Florian Vogt (Walther von Stolzing), among others. The performance dates will be published on the Bayreuth Festival website.
