"Parsifal" in Paris
Simone Young returns to the Opera national de Paris for a new production of Richard Wagner's "Parsifal." The premiere, with Simon O'Neill in the title role, is scheduled for 24 May 22022, with Brian Mulligan (Amfortas), Kwangchul Youn (Gurnemanz), Falk Struckmann (Klingsor) and Marina Prudenskaya (Kundry) among the singers. The production is by Richard Jones, set and costumes by ULZT. Performances: 24, 28, 31 May and 3, 6, 9 and 12 June 2022.
