Mahler CD No. 1 in Australia

The recording of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 by Simone Young and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra has been number 1 in the Australian classical music charts for five weeks. In addition to the recording of the “Resurrection Symphony”, the CD also contains the work “Of the Earth” by William Barton. The CD has been released by Deutsche Grammophon.
