BR Klassik honors Simone Young on her 65th birthday

On 2 March 2026, BR Klassik will celebrate Simone Young's 65th birthday with a special broadcast. In the series “Klassik-Stars,” the radio channel presents prominent instrumental soloists in outstanding concert and chamber music recordings. Starting at 6:05 p.m., excerpts from recordings with Simone Young of Richard Wagner's “Die Walküre” and Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 4 in E minor with the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra will be broadcast.
