Zurich Opera presents the premiere of "Salome" in a video livestream

At 7 p.m. on 12 September 2021, the Zurich Opera will present the premiere of Richard Strauss’ "Salome" in a video livestream on its website. Simone Young conducts the new production, the staging is by Andreas Homiki. The cast include Elena Stikhina (Salome), Michaela Schuster (Herodias), Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke (Herod) and Kostas Smoriginas (Jochanaan).
