Strauss and Wagner with the San Francisco Symphony
In November 2019 Simone Young will appear three times on the podium of the San Francisco Symphony. After her acclaimed debut in March 2019 with music by Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov, this time Simone Young will present a late-romantic program with Richard Strauss's „Metamorphosen“ and the first act of Richard Wagner's „Die Walküre“. The soloists are Emily Magee (Sieglinde), Stuart Skelton (Siegmund) and Ain Anger (Hunding).
