Simone Young makes her debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic
In February, Simone Young makes her debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonics. On her program for the three concerts in the Walt Disney Hall are Benjamin Britten’s „Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes“ and his masterful „Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings“ and „Also sprach Zarathustra“ by Richard Strauss. The solists are LA Phil’s own Principal Horn, Australian Andrew Bain and Michael Slattery, tenor. Performances are scheduled for 1, 2 and 3 February 2019.
